Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 12:06AM A decade in the making, I am proud to present the opening of my solo photography show "The Locust". It will take place on July 7th 2013 at the Sacred Gallery from 8-11pm. The gallery is located at 424 Broadway on the second floor, just up from Canal st. The show features my extensive work of my long time friend Adam Aries RIP. He tragically passed away in his sleep 2 years ago. We were like family. See the Sacred Gallery website for more information. Looking forward to seeing everyone there opening night!

Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 09:44PM Sometimes there is someone who starts something that you become a part of. Like minded people join. They become more than just like minded people, some become your family. Shannon Larratt, the founder of BMEzine.com, has passed away. He and I were not close although we had met several times. He was a pioneer in something that has shaped my life for the better every day since I joined his community. You can find more information about Shannon on Needles and Sins or Sacred Debris. The majority of the people who are close to me now I have met in some form or another through his site. It is a terrible loss and my heart goes out to his family.

Shannon Larratt (1973-2013)

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:22PM David Rees is an extremely funny man. His dry sense of humor may be lost on some, but when he is in a DJ battle with John Hodgman things really get hot. Coming soon I will be offering all of my images I took on JCCC3 for sale. It will be a pay-what-you-want sliding scale. By early next week I should have this up and running!
Taken with Canon 5D mkII with 24mm f1.4 II using 3 stitched images.

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10:09PM One of the performers on the cruise, John Roderick, of the rock band The Long Winters, was on stage doing his duet from Jonathan Coulton's latest album. Only it was a show where Jonathan was letting other people sing his songs using his band as back up! There was a 14 year old attendee who bought his show pass using his own money because he was that excited to be there and hang out with all the awesome nerds and performers. Needless to say after he helped Roderick sing his part during the song "Nemeses" David became an instant cruise celebrity.
