I recently had the oppurtunity to visit the enchanting Muir Woods in Northern California. It is literally a magical place. I'm not sure if it is the immense size of the red wood trees or the fact that they are extremely old, but there is a calm that hits you the moment you enter the park. This panorama was taken with the new large sensor Ricoh GR with a 28mm fixed lens. I was on the upper path looking down into the valley and the trees were still so tall around me I could barely see where they ended. I look forward to being able to go back and visit again.
